Content Writer and Editor Intern

We are building a new international English language digital news and magazine platform based in Denmark.

We are looking for a highly skilled English Content Writer and Editor Intern based in Pakistan to support our editorial and digital publishing work.

As a Content Writer and Editor Intern, you will help turn research, official information, reports, interviews, and verified source material into clear, engaging, and well structured English language content. You will work on news articles, magazine features, practical guides, interviews, and other digital editorial content.

The ideal candidate has an excellent command of written English and understands the difference between writing for a general blog and writing for a professional online news and magazine platform.

This role requires strong writing skills, editorial judgement, attention to detail, and the ability to explain information in simple and natural English.

• Write and edit English language news and magazine content.
• Turn research briefs and verified source material into clear and original articles.
• Write and edit news stories, features, practical guides, interviews, and profile articles.
• Review articles for grammar, clarity, structure, tone, and readability.
• Improve headlines, introductions, subheadings, and article flow.
• Help maintain a consistent editorial tone and writing style.
• Identify and remove unnecessary repetition, unclear language, and weak structure.
• Ensure content is original and does not copy or closely rewrite other publications.
• Review source references and identify factual claims requiring further verification.
• Work with research briefs prepared by the Content Researcher.
• Edit interview questions and answers without changing the interviewee's intended meaning.
• Support SEO focused content improvements while protecting editorial quality and factual accuracy.
• Prepare content for online publication.
• Support the development and implementation of editorial guidelines and content templates.

Previous writing or editing experience with a blog, online magazine, newspaper, news website, university publication, newsletter, or digital content platform is highly preferred.

A portfolio or examples of published or unpublished writing are highly desirable.

Students or graduates in Journalism, Mass Communication, Media Studies, English Literature, English Language, Communications, or related fields are encouraged to apply.

Previous experience in journalism, article writing, copy editing, or editorial work is a strong advantage.

You should be comfortable using or learning AI based writing, research, and productivity tools.

AI will be part of our editorial workflow. However, we are not looking for someone who simply copies and publishes AI generated content.
