About NordPak Foundation

The NordPak Foundation is a non-profit organisation working to connect and empower the Pakistani diaspora across the Nordic region, including Denmark, Sweden, Norway, and Finland.

Founded in 2022, NordPak focuses on fostering cultural, professional, technological, entrepreneurial, and intellectual exchange between Pakistan and the Nordic countries. Through events, community initiatives, research, and digital engagement, NordPak works as a bridge between diaspora communities, institutions, startups, professionals, and public sector organisations across both regions.

 

About the Role

NordPak Foundation is looking for a passionate and digitally savvy Social Media Coordinator (Volunteer/Unpaid) to support our growing online presence and community engagement efforts.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in gaining practical experience in:

You will help shape NordPak’s voice across platforms while working remotely with an international and impact-driven team.

📍 Location: Remote (Pakistan-based preferred)
Commitment: Approximately 15–20 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Management

You will support and manage NordPak’s digital presence across platforms including:

  • LinkedIn
  • Facebook
  • Instagram
  • TikTok
  • X (Twitter)
  • YouTube (optional)

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing social media content plans aligned with NordPak’s mission and activities
  • Creating engaging posts for events, community initiatives, research, entrepreneurship, and tech-related programs
  • Scheduling and publishing content using tools like Meta Business Suite, Buffer, Hootsuite, or similar platforms
  • Maintaining consistent brand messaging and visual identity across channels
  • Assisting with short-form video creation including reels, stories, and event highlights
  • Supporting live event coverage and digital campaigns

 

AI-Powered Content Creation

We are particularly interested in candidates who are curious about emerging AI tools and modern digital workflows.

This may include:

  • Using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Canva AI, Gemini, Claude, Midjourney, CapCut AI, or similar tools for content ideation and production
  • Creating AI-assisted captions, visuals, summaries, and campaign concepts
  • Exploring ethical and effective use of AI for non-profit storytelling and audience engagement
  • Staying updated with social media trends, platform updates, and AI-driven digital communication practices

 

Community Engagement

You will help strengthen NordPak’s online community by:

  • Responding to comments, messages, and inquiries professionally and respectfully
  • Encouraging engagement and meaningful discussions
  • Supporting outreach to diaspora communities, creators, startups, and professionals
  • Assisting in managing community feedback and moderation when needed

 

Content & Creative Support

You will contribute to:

  • Graphic design and visual storytelling
  • Editing photos, reels, and short-form videos
  • Designing event creatives, social posts, and promotional materials
  • Supporting campaigns around community events, entrepreneurship, tech, education, and social impact

 

Analytics & Reporting

You will help measure and improve digital impact by:

  • Tracking engagement, reach, audience growth, and content performance
  • Preparing simple monthly insights or reports
  • Identifying trends and recommending improvements based on analytics

 

Skills & Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

  • Understands major social media platforms and digital trends
  • Has strong written English communication skills
  • Has an eye for storytelling, branding, and visual communication
  • Is proactive, organised, and able to work independently
  • Is interested in technology, AI tools, startups, digital culture, or community initiatives
  • Is familiar with tools such as Canva, CapCut, Adobe Express, Photoshop, or similar
  • Has basic knowledge of AI content tools (preferred but not mandatory)
  • Has experience managing personal, freelance, student, or organisational social media pages (a plus)

🎓 A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Media, Business, Communication, IT, or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.
