About the Platform
We are building a new international English language digital news and magazine platform based in Denmark.
We are looking for a curious, research driven, and detail oriented Content Researcher Intern based in Pakistan to support our editorial and content team.
About the Role
As a Content Researcher Intern, your main responsibility will be to continuously monitor news, reports, announcements, media, and online sources to identify relevant stories, trends, and content opportunities. You will help the editorial team discover what is happening, why it may be important, and whether a topic could become a news story, article, guide, interview, or magazine feature.
This role requires curiosity, strong research skills, and the ability to find and organise information from multiple sources.
Key Responsibilities
- Continuously monitor Danish and international news and media sources.
- Track updates from government institutions, ministries, municipalities, embassies, universities, and other public organisations.
- Monitor company websites, press rooms, announcements, reports, and industry sources.
- Follow newspapers, TV channels, online magazines, specialist media, and relevant international publications.
- Monitor competitor websites and similar digital media platforms.
- Track relevant discussions and emerging trends across LinkedIn, Reddit, newsletters, professional communities, and other digital channels.
- Identify potential news stories, practical guides, features, interviews, and content opportunities.
- Prepare short and clear research briefs for the editorial team.
- Provide original source links, publication dates, key facts, and relevant background information.
- Support fact checking and source verification.
- Maintain an organised database of story ideas and research sources.
- Assist the editorial team with research for articles and interviews.
Ideal Candidate
- Excellent English reading, writing, and communication skills.
- Strong internet and online research skills.
- Naturally curious and interested in news, media, business, technology, and international developments.
- Ability to identify credible and trustworthy sources.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to understand information and summarise it clearly in English.
- Comfortable reading reports, announcements, and long form content.
- Good understanding of social media and digital content trends.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Strong communication and time management skills.
- Able to complete agreed tasks within deadlines.
Preferred Experience
Previous experience with a blog, online magazine, newspaper, news platform, research project, newsletter, or digital content website is highly preferred.
Students or graduates in Journalism, Mass Communication, Media Studies, English, International Relations, Business, Political Science, Marketing, or related fields are encouraged to apply.
Experience in content research, media monitoring, fact checking, or editorial research is an advantage.
AI and Digital Tools
You should be comfortable using or learning AI based research and productivity tools.
AI may be used to support research, organise information, and improve productivity.

Working Style
